IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
We can consider physical activity like any muscle and skeletal activity. Commonly this term is referred to any physical activity that improves and maintain the physical shape, health and wellness. These activities are performed to build muscle, improve the cardiovascular system, carry out sports or any recreational activity, or lose fats.
Motor actions can be gather for the need of develop of any physical capability such as strength, velocity, endurance, or flexibility. Physical exercise can be recomended to solve any specific motor problem. Physical exercise improves mental functions, autonomy, memory, corporal appearance, and it balances the personality, optimism, euphoria and mental agility.
Physical Activity Programs must provide relaxation, endurance, strength and flexibility. The body´s interaction with the space and time through movement provides many learnings. This construction is made through some educative experience successions which promote by exploration, practice, and integration, organizing the anatomical chart.
In addition, sport has a big influence at preventing many diseases such as obesity, hypertension and diabetes. It´s consider that between 9 and 16 per cent of deaths in developed countries are attributed to a sedentary way of life. This is a very important factor for health, combined with others, such as genetic inheritance, age, nutritional situation, hygiene, healthiness, stress and tobacco intake.
The regular and frequent practice of physical exercise stimulates the immunological system, helping to prevent coronary and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity. It also improves metal health, help to prevent depression, develop and maintain self-esteem and improve the body´s appearance.
Obesity in children is a huge health problem, and physical exercise is one of the solutions to treat some of the effects of child and adult obesity.
